With my wedding coming up in 11 days, Natalie and I rush to get this project out of the way... In Rm 1024 right now to finalise our documentary and export it using ScreenFlow. It has been a long, tough and exhausting journey, yet much can be gained with lots of effort and without possibly giving up. Finally coming up with a title for our doco: "Loving what you do" - Conversations with inspiring conductors.
Definitely enjoyed every moment within this process - it was just such a positive learning experience to be exposed to such interviewing, filming, trimming, editing, exporting and finally publishing... yes, we are about to export and calling James Humberstone in the middle of his marking to find out what options we click on to finally export. Exported as Web-Hi file type and is 100% of intended project dimensions.
Finally exported!!! OMG, Nat & I can't believe that we just finished our documentary. Is this a dream or are we in reality? Never thought that it would be finished as I had expected. Mission Complete!!
We are proud to announce that our documentary is officially now released on YouTube. Sit back, relax (with your popcorn and chips). Remember to click on the 1080 HD option as you view this to gain an enjoyable experience as much as we did.
In conclusion, I would like to say a huge thank you to all those who put a lot of effort in to this, and offered their time in being part of this project. Our wonderful conductors: Anna Humberstone, Brett Weymark, Eduardo Diazmunoz and Sarah Feltham.
A huge thank you also to one of our Con first year students: Karen Cortez for taking part in this.
Thanks to James Humberstone for bearing with all our stressful comments and devastation we were in the minute we heard from you that what we had trimmed for the purpose of this project were not in HD!!!
I can't stop typing until I also thank Natalie Gooneratne for supporting me in this project - there were a lot of difficult moments for us too in the process of this project. It was you who motivated me, and kept the energy flow happening. Thanks for those sleepless nights, and extra hours you offered to stay for me in finishing this as I was almost expecting due to my wedding commitments. It was great working with you, and I look forward to working collaboratively again with you.
For now, I can say... no more updates about this is to be posted soon :) LOL!!! I mean sure, I can post small updates about feedback and number of views? What about 'Presentation of Learning' event technically the night before my wedding (18/11/16)? Am I going to attend or not? Stay tuned for more updates leading up to our 'Presentation of Learning' event.
Enjoy :)
