Today, our workshop was dedicated for us to work on our project and ask James anything we wanted.

It turns out that after James showed us a few things on ScreenFlow, that technically all the videos I trimmed earlier using Movie Maker are not in high resolution... They will turn out blurry and we obviously want to be proud with our final production. Natalie and I clearly wasted our time on nothing, and we have 1 option to pick from and decide for ourselves what is more efficient for me especially when my wedding is in 23 days and the whole point is to have this entirely finished by early November at the latest. Either we:

  1. Re-trim them this time by clicking on "High definition display" option in Movie Maker. This will take much longer again, and we haven't even got anywhere near the editing process on ScreenFlow. We'll run out of time using this option.

  2. Get straight into editing, by trimming them through ScreenFlow, and more than one ScreenFlow project / file can be opened at a time, it is possible to drag what we've trimmed into another project.

Option 2 seems to be the efficient option for us both and so tomorrow Natalie and I will focus on trimming everything in order to get started on the editing process next week asap.

We also asked James for his opinion in giving this documentary a title... He asked, "What is the common or most inspiring / important message you get out of this documentary from all conductors?" I responded, "Having passion and showing love for what you do." His answer was simple, "Just title it something like 'Love what you do - conversations with inspiring conductors." After approaching Natalie with this title suggestion, she was very proud about it, and thought yes let's do it.

But let's get started onto trimming...
